A difficult pause
A visa that fell through, a heavy workload and starting again.
During the time I was less active, I went through some difficult and hectic days—from an issue with the visa I was supposed to use to immigrate, to an intense workload.
Honestly, I had put almost everything on hold because I thought I was leaving. But suddenly, I found myself staying—and it was genuinely difficult to start again and regain enough control to keep my work and projects moving forward. It took a lot of my time and energy.
I also felt deeply conflicted about the nature of my work and my plans for the future. It’s almost as if, when everything stops and you return to zero, your mind finally gets the space to understand what you had actually been doing. The foundations of my thinking often take shape during moments like these. Overall, though, I believe my mindset has evolved and reached a new level.
During this time, I also worked on a project where I built a custom AI skill for a coach. I trained the system to understand his programming style, methodology, and rules so it could carry out his workflow—and even use a browser to upload the programs independently. The project went very well and was successfully delivered. I hope he gets great value from it.
